BALANCE EMOTIONS, THOUGHTS & ACTIONS
Are you struggling to find fulfilment in pursuing your life's purpose? Do past unachieved goals leave you emotionally charged and confused? Is disorder at home or in the workplace negatively impacting your overall well-being?
At times, addressing failures in life requires more than just discussing them during consultation sessions. They often need to be tackled in the real world as well. For instance, if a failing marriage is causing distress, simply talking about it may provide temporary relief. However, unless the underlying issues are resolved in real life, thoughts of the marriage can trigger feelings of failure repeatedly. It applies to other meaningful relationships or activities that hold significance for you.
The Life Planning Schema Program begins with an initial assessment phase, where you explore and reflect on different aspects of your life. It involves examining your thoughts, emotions, values, relationships, and overall life satisfaction. Through guided questioning and reflection exercises, you gain clarity about your current situation and identify areas where you want to improve.
Once the assessment phase is complete, the next step is to set purposes, goals, and policies for each domain of your life. Purposes reflect your ultimate objectives, while goals represent specific milestones that will help you achieve those purposes. Policies act as guiding principles that align your actions with your values and desired outcomes.
With a clear understanding of your purposes, goals, and policies, you can develop an Action Plan to bridge the gap between your Current and Ideal situations. This plan outlines the specific steps and strategies you will take to bring about positive change and achieve your desired outcomes.
In Applied Metapsychology, a life coach guides clients through Life Planning. A schema systematically analyses a client's life in different domains, such as self, intimates, groups, humankind, life, and the Infinite. Equiblend Program is a customised set of steps conducted through coaching/consultation to help clients construct their life schema. Each domain occupies a concentric position, with the self at the centre.
Values serve as guiding concepts that influence behaviours and their qualities. More abstract than purposeful, they inform desired qualities that shape behaviours.
The outcome of a Life Planning Schema Program consists of a set of purposes, goals, policies, and an Action Plan to bridge the gap between the Current Situation and the Ideal Situation.
Policies serve as guiding principles for leading one's life. People often have their own "policies" that they believe they should follow but may not always adhere to. On the other hand, Modus Operandi (MO) represents habitual patterns of behaviour, showcasing how individuals behave, regardless of their moral code or policies. Therefore, an MO is a policy someone currently operates on, and an objective is the desired situation a goal aims to achieve, marking the fulfilment of that specific intention. A goal is a finite and attainable intention, often bounded by limits or boundaries. Once the objective is accomplished, the intention naturally concludes. Comparatively, a purpose is an unlimited, open-ended intention that guides a person's life choices, stemming from the root meaning "to stretch out toward." Identifying and understanding your MO can provide insights into why specific patterns persist and how they may affect your ability to achieve your goals.
Positive Gain refers to acquiring more excellent capability. At the same time, Negative Gain involves eliminating unwanted entities or conditions and releasing emotional charge. A problem is a challenge encountered in pursuing a desirable or undesirable goal. A product refers to something tangible that a client can produce, ideally contributing to or aligning with the Ideal Situation. It may encompass items that can be exchanged for other goods or services.
