Arise in Purpose. Stand in Identity. Walk in Resilience.
Three facilitators. Three themes. Three weeks.
What is KETURAH
KETURAH is an Integrative Christian Resilience Programme for adult women. It offers structured opportunities to explore purpose, identity, and ways to move forward in everyday life.
The programme runs over three weeks, with five weekday sessions each week. It is delivered in person and is non-residential, so you continue living at home between appointments.
Three facilitators bring together contributions from LovePatch, RUACH, Life Stress Reduction, WEAVE and Albatross. Each offers a different starting point for exploration while retaining its own purpose and approach.
What this programme offers
KETURAH provides a coordinated sequence of 15 sessions, each planned for 60 minutes. The work creates space to explore what matters to you, address present concerns, express yourself creatively, reflect on Christian formation, and consider practical ways to navigate life.
Your own experiences, questions and choices guide what becomes meaningful. You are not expected to arrive with a clear purpose, a settled understanding of yourself or a particular spiritual experience.
Who it is for
Applications are open to adult women who would value a structured Christian programme with opportunities to:
-
Explore purpose and personal direction.
-
Reflect on identity and belonging.
-
Attend to current life stress.
-
Express experiences through creativity.
-
Recognise strengths and available support.
-
Consider ways of continuing through change.
-
Connect personal reflection with everyday choices.
An initial conversation considers your needs, readiness and whether the programme’s scope and five-session weekly rhythm are appropriate for you.
A Christian environment held in grace
The programme describes its surrounding Christian environment as the Cloud of Grace. Grace is understood as present throughout the journey, rather than something earned through progress or participation. Christian reflection makes room for dignity, questions and uncertainty.
Facilitators do not determine your spiritual standing, explain God’s purposes for your experiences or require a particular response. Your own understanding remains central.
The three-week journey
Week One — ARISE: Purpose. Explore what matters to you, what may be obstructing movement and what possibilities you begin to recognise. You may notice a direction, a question, or something needing further attention; you don't need to declare a life purpose.
Week Two — STAND: Identity. Explore personhood, self-awareness and the relationship between who you understand yourself to be and how you are living. Facilitators do not assign an identity or expect every question about yourself to be resolved.
Week Three — WALK: Resilience. Consider continuing forward within ordinary life. Recognise resources, consider choices and explore how you might review and adjust your direction as circumstances change.
The five-day rhythm
Monday — UNBLOCK through LovePatch. Explore concerns or experiences that may be obstructing movement, identity or a way forward. The work follows LovePatch’s own suitability, professional and closing requirements.
Tuesday — EXPRESS through RUACH. Creative exploration offers another way to express what matters to you. It does not need to illustrate or continue the previous day’s conversation.
Wednesday — DEVELOP through Life Stress Reduction. Attend to current life stress, with Situations in Week One, Self in Week Two and Persons in Week Three. This contribution is LSR only; Schema Life Planning and the Ability Enhancement Curriculum are not included.
Thursday — RENEW through WEAVE. Reflect on Christian formation, renewal, discernment and everyday expression. The imagery creates space to recognise strengths, explore qualities, and consider ways of living without imposed meaning or a required spiritual explanation.
Friday — NAVIGATE through Albatross. Connect personal discovery with life beyond the programme. Explore what has become relevant, recognise resources or consider a manageable next step. The conversation follows your priorities.
Your Golden Thread
A Golden Thread is something you choose to carry forward: perhaps a word, image, question, insight, Scripture or decision. It belongs to you. You may keep it, change it, release it or choose nothing at all. The facilitator does not identify it on your behalf.
Life between sessions
Because KETURAH is non-residential, ordinary life remains part of the experience. You may notice something between appointments that you wish to bring into a later session. There is no compulsory homework, journal or requirement to report successful application.
You can also bring a new concern or choose not to discuss what happened between sessions.
What to expect from a session
Each session allows time to arrive, engage in the relevant programme work and close thoughtfully. You can ask questions, pause and express uncertainty. The shared structure supports continuity while respecting each contribution’s requirements.
Consent and confidentiality remain important across the programme. Participation does not automatically permit personal disclosures to be shared between facilitators. Professional closing requirements take priority over ending a process solely to meet the timetable.
What we are working towards
The programme offers opportunities to better understand your priorities and identity, recognise strengths and resources, reflect on current stress, and find personally meaningful ways to move forward.
These are aims rather than guaranteed outcomes. KETURAH does not promise trauma resolution, a defined purpose or a particular level of resilience within three weeks.
Walking forward
The end of three weeks marks completion of the planned sessions, rather than resolution of every difficulty. The closing conversation offers space to consider what has been meaningful, what remains unfinished and what support you may want next.
We may consider further coaching, a standalone programme, counselling, or another referral based on suitability and availability.
